Refreshing Cool Drinks for Summers

Every cookery or kitchen blog, these days, is full of cool and refreshing drinks. You go to any such blog and you are bound to see varied cool drinks recipes. 

However, my experience has been ( check me if i am wrong) that these drinks demand ingredients that are sometimes not easy to get or are too rare. This spoils the fun for the readers.

The drinks that I would discuss here today can be easily made with ingredients that are mostly common for every household. You can enjoy these drinks not only in summers but also in winters and rainy season owing to their health and refreshing benefits. 

Otherwise also, after being scolded by wife for wasting money in preparing 4 hot beverages, I had less courage to go and buy new ingredients for these drinks. As they say, necessity is the mother of inventions, I also invented these drinks using easily available items.

Guava Dive  

Ingredients

Guava Juice in a glass. Healthy drink recipe1cup guava juice, some chopped coriander leaves, a pint of black salt (kala namak), a pint of Rock Salt (sendha namak), 1 lemon juice, 1/2 cup drinking water, 6-7 ice cubes.

Time of Preparation          

5 Minutes

How to Prepare

Put ice cubes in a glass and mix corriander leaves and water in it. Now, pour rest of the ingredients into this mixture ans serve by garnishing it with orange zest, red and green chillies. Real easy?? isn't it?? Give your feedback.

Naughty Mary

Ingredients

naughty merry juice in a glass with toppings2 tomatoes' pulp, 1/2 cup tomato juice, 1/2 cup drinking water, 1 seedless green chilly, 1 Tb sp (bada chammach) worcestershire juice, 1 lemon juice, 1 small spoon celery salt (ajwain namak), a pint of chilly powder, 7-8 ice cubes.

Time of Preparation          

8 minutes

How to Prepare

Remove all seeds from tomato pulp first. Mix water in tomato pulp and prepare a paste. Now, pour all the ingredients in the blender and blend well. Serve the blended mixture in a glass after garnishing it with tomoato cherry and celery stick. Well, this was even simpler.  

Minty Fresh

Ingredients

mint juice in a glass. mint leaves toppings. healthy drink50 grams mint leaves (pudina), 1 small spoon black salt (kala namak), 10 grams grated ginger, 1 cup lemonade, 1/2 cup drinking water, 1/4 cup club soda, 8 ice cubes.

Time of Preparation   

6 minutes

How to Prepare
Put garlic and mint leaves in water and prepare a mixture. Now, blend all the ingredients well. Garnish with mint leaves and lemon peel before serving. Very simple indeed!

Well, 3 drinks for today are good, i guess. Otherwise, i will have to drink them all in one go (coutesy wife). Will discuss some more simple and refreshing drinks tomorrow. How wife reacts remains to be seen, Will tell you tomorrow about it. keep visiting.
